Ronda Schwartz, LCSW-R, J.D. holds both a Masters of Social Work as well as a Juris Doctorate. She has twenty years of experience as a Licensed Clinical Social Work Psychotherapist. Her broad experience includes working within outpatient mental health settings, schools as well as private practice. She provides compassionate treatment for children, adolescents and adults who are struggling with a wide range of mood related disorders including depression, anxiety, anger, traumatic loss, attachment, adjustment and socialization difficulties, relationship concerns as well as life transitions. Using a strengths-based eclectic approach; Ms. Schwartz, draws upon psychodynamic, relational, cognitive behavioral concepts as well as play therapy when appropriate to help inform her work. She aims to work collaboratively and provide a place where patients can explore, understand and better cope with their concerns.
Ms. Schwartz, is a member of NASW and NYS Society for Clinical Social Workers. She has received additional training in mediation and conflict resolution and is admitted to the NYS Bar. Additionally, Ms. Schwartz obtained SIFI certification and has provided supervision to students studying to obtain their MSW.
